Our Connection : Jeff and I met at a little bar with a tiny stage called The Volstead in Austin, TX. We later performed Béla Bartók’s 44 Duos for Two Violins together (there and elsewhere). Just recently, Jeff shared with me a recording of the 44 Duos with vocal additions (performed by Iva Bittova and Dorothea Kellerova), we got to chatting and Jeff joined the project !
